Mindfulness Training is practicing Attention & Intention
The ‘Intentional’, accepting and non-judgmental focus of, ‘Attention’ of our thoughts and sensations.
This anxiety relief training is gradual and effective. It requires that we are interested in learning and practicing a new way of understanding and reducing anxiety.
STUDY
The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) published the results of a ground-breaking study that found that mindfulness-meditation appears to provide as much relief from some anxiety and depression symptoms as antidepressants.
