Having trouble getting started?

What is our mindset towards being grounded and safe, is it ‘I can’ or ‘I can’t’.

To learn a new skill like grounding it is helpful not to expect too much of yourself. Unrealistic self expectations are a common cause of anxiety. The on going self-talk of ‘I should …’ generates negative physical and emotional side effects.

Solution to negative self-talk is ‘… not yet’.

Research tells that we think approximately 50,000 – 70,000 thoughts per per day. Enough to fill a large book.  With  approximately 75% of these thoughts being negative. Reason, mother natures way of helping to keep us from getting eaten :-).
